Dr. Mathew G Faris - Founder / Primary Clinician
Dr. Mathew "Doc" Faris is a Flint native who graduated from Hamady high school ('75). After attending University of Michigan-Flint and Western Michigan University ('80) and National University of Health Science ('82) moved back home to found The Backdoctors in 1983. He has helped serve 1000s of patients in the Flint community during his time in practice, as well as serving as the Athletic Trainer for Mt. Morris for over 20 years.
Dr. Jeffrey Kline - Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Jeffrey Kline is a Flint native who graduated from Mt. Morris high school ('14). Following his secondary education at both Alma college ('18) and Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida ('22) he joined our team in 2022 and has been serving the community as both a clinician in our office as well as the Athletic Trainer/Strength Coach for Mt. Morris High school.
Dr. Joe Bernard - Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Joe Bernard is a flint native who graduated from Flint Southwestern high school ('85). After attending Michigan State University ('91) and Palmer College of Chiropractic Main Campus ('01) he moved back to Flint and has been with The Backdoctors since 2013.
Ashley Smith - Licensed Massage Therapist
Ashley is an LMT who joined our staff in 2024.
